One obstacle I always encounter is choosing what college I would like to attend, there are so many options! Of course, you could go on college road trips and tours with your school or family. But this is not possible for disadvantaged students whose families cannot afford to take trips and have financial restraints placed on them. In addition, the coronavirus outbreak also forced colleges to close to prevent further cases and spreading. Consequently, students are unable to visit colleges and gain an insight into what college life is like and whether they fit at the college. But don't worry, your goals are not ruined yet! Many colleges are offering virtual tours and if you're interested, check out their website! I also received some emails offering tours as well! In addition, I decided to build a website dedicated to helping high students learn information about their college by interviewing college students from various colleges including prestigious schools such as Harvard, MIT, Princeton, Cornell, Yale, Dartmouth, and the list goes on! Their responses were amazing and extremely helpful in deciding where you want to apply. If you want to learn more, click on the "Colleges" tab! Thank you to all who helped me out and responded to me, you are the best! It doesn't mean you have to give up your dreams and goals you worked so hard for over the years just because of coronavirus.
