For Penn State, I had the opportunity to interview Kristine! She is such an amazing person and so helpful if you're interested in learning more about Penn State! Thank you so much Kristine!
What makes this Penn State so special to you? Was it your first choice and your dream school?
"Honestly I was not expecting to attend Penn State because I am from such a small and tight knit community 6hrs away everyone expected me to just go to a small in state school. Now being here for two semesters I know that I made the right decision, even though I applied because of a video i saw of a Penn State football game this school is honestly so special to me and I don’t think that I could picture myself anywhere else."
What was your reaction when you opened your acceptance letter?
"I didn’t believe it 😂 I thought i was going to get into a branch campus but when I read the letter again I literally screamed and ran downstairs to my mom."
Personally, would you recommend morning or night classes?
"Personally, would you recommend morning or night classes?
Morning classes for sure. Maybe not like 8ams, but if you have all your classes done by 3 then it’s perfect."
What kind of classes would you highly recommend students to take in high school before going off to college?
"Definitely AP classes, even if you don’t pass the exam it’s nice to see the college workload before you get there."
How would you describe the workload? Do students study at home during the weekends or go out and relax with their friends?
"You definitely have to put in work at Penn State, however, if you organize yourself and use your time wisely, it’s a lot more easier. Managing your time is also really important at Penn State cause we PARTY, normally people get their work done before friday so we can spend the weekends with our friends and having fun."
