For Georgia College, I had the chance to interview my cousin, Sally and one of her good friends, Karagan. Both students love their school. Sally loves GCSU especially because she loves her sorority group where she made so many great friendships even though it made her broke lol! Both gave great advices and information about Georgia College. Thank you Sally and Karagan!

KARAGAN
How would you describe the workload? Do students study at home during the weekends or go out and relax with their friends?
"The workload can be intense but if you stay on top of the work it can be manageable. Most people end hanging out with friends instead of studying but I generally stay at home and study."
What is your major and why did you choose this major?
"My major is Biology pre-medicine. I picked my field of study because I enjoy science and helping as many people as I can."
What inspired you to work hard to strive to get into Georgia Tech?
"I already had 2 siblings attend Georgia College and they seemed to really enjoy it. When it came to my decision, it was easy."
What’s your favorite class?
"General Chemistry 1."
Are you from Georgia or out of state? How does this affect your financial aid?
"Yes, in-state tuition and having scholarships help a significant amount with financials."
How would you describe your first-year experience at Georgia Tech?
"It was educational. I liked being able to be on my own and being able to experience all of it."
What do you think makes this school unique?
"Georgia College is small enough to make it feel like home. It is much easier to interact with your classmates and your professors when you need assistance for assignments, which helps with connections in the future."
